Pete is an experienced Fire Officer and Tier 2 Fire Investigator with over twenty-five years' service, conducting investigations across a wide range of areas and, as a qualified, registered electrician specialises in electrical fires.
A member of UK-AFI and the IAAI, Pete originally trained as a Joint Industry Board (JIB) Electrician, working across all the key areas from domestic to light industrial installations, prior to joining the Fire & Rescue service. In recent years, Pete has upskilled to operate in the areas of renewable energy supplies & prosumer electrical installations as the nature of installations and investigations changes to meet the new technologies and maintains competence as a NAPIT registered electrician.
